Each year Delta Electricity sponsors four scholarships valued at $2,500 each to assist Central Coast students complete their education at The University of Newcastle (Ourimbah Campus). Three scholarships are for any Central Coast student enrolled to attend courses at the Ourimbah campus and one scholarship for an indigenous student at the campus.
Delta Electricity also has two TAFE Scholarships valued at $750 towards students undgoing a trades based course.
The scholarships offer financial support to young undergraduate students who have successfully completed their first year of study.
To be eligible, students must:
Be enrolled in any undergraduate program at Central Coast Campus
Completed at least 40 units of current program
Be enrolled full-time
Be under 21 years of age at the completion of the first calendar year of study
Be a resident of the Central Coast or Lake Macquarie areas
Be an Australian Citizen or a Permanent Resident
Not have previously received this scholarship
Not hold another scholarship for the same program of equivalent or more substantial benefit
Selection of the scholar will be on the basis of academic merit.
