The Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (NSW) commenced on 1 July 2010.
The Act requires Delta Electricity to publish certain information in a Contracts Register about the contracts it enters into with the private sector.
As a State Owned Corporation Delta Electricity is not required to publish information about or provide a copy of a contract in its Contracts Register when the contract relates to activities engaged in by Delta Electricity (or by its subsidiaries) in a market in which it is competition with any other person.
Contracts that are not covered by this exemption are placed in the Contracts Register.
Interested persons are encouraged to regularly review the Results section in the Tenders and Quotations pages of this website for updates on our contracting activities.
