Licences and Compliance

All Delta Electricity facilities are located in New South Wales and are therefore subject to environmental legislative requirements of this state. Each power station site holds licences under the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997. These licences specify in detail the terms and conditions under which each power station site can operate with regard to their emissions to the atmosphere and to receiving waters.

The current EPA Licence for all sites can be located on the EPA web site by using this hyperlink:

To find Delta Electricity power stations, select Electricity Generation (a) from the drop down Activity Type list then click Search. This site also contains details of Environment Compliance reports detailing progress against each Licence submitted annually to the NSW Environment Protection Authority.

A more detailed description of compliance issues can be found in the annual Environment Reports.

Please send any comments on these licenses to our feedback area.
