Each year a community relations plan is developed which reflects Delta Electricity's commitment to be a leading corporate citizen providing support for the Western Regional community through sponsorship, donation, effective consultation and liaison.
A number of local organisations active in local arts and sporting activities are supported, as well as Landcare and Tidy Towns, the local business association, charities and several groups working to support disadvantaged young people and children. Community events such as Celebrate Lithgow, Ironfest and the Lithgow Annual Business Awards are given substantial support.
