Tentative dates have been set starting in September for the delivery of components to the Colongra Gas Turbine site. 12 deliveries are expected in all. The deliveries are so large, they will take up most of the southbound lanes of the F3. Motorists are asked to avoid travelling south on the F3 during these periods as they will experience delays.

One condition of the approval for the Colongra Gas Turbine project is that traffic management protocol is prepared.
The protocol addresses the requirements of Wyong Shire Council and the Roads and Traffic Authority. It outlines how to manage traffic that may be generated during construction with a view to keeping impacts on the community to a minimum.
