Delta Electricity is the second largest generator in NSW. It has four coal fired power stations.
On the Central Coast, Vales Point and Munmorah power stations are within five kilometres of each other.
In the Western Region, Mt Piper and Wallerawang power stations are approximately 10 kilometres apart near Lithgow.
New developments comprise a gas turbine facility being constructed at Colongra near Munmorah, and approval being sought to build two other gas turbine facilities - one at Marulan and one at Bamarang.
We are also partners in the largest renewable energy project in NSW generating electricity from sugar cane waste at Condong and Broadwater, on the north coast of NSW. |
